Music to film has defined some of the most amazing visual to audio triggers. Take this scene of the opening to Apocalypse Now for example. Would the movie had been the same without The Doors "The End" playing over a area of jungle being bombed? Maybe it would have been just as good with The Stones "Can't you hear me knocking", but that would have changed the entire feeling going into AN, regardless, that song lays forever with an association to this scene. Francis Ford Coppola movies have been noted for outstanding soundtracks and sound design and in particular with apocalypse Now Coppola worked with noted sound designer Walter Murch. Murch has put his touch to not only several Coppola flicks such as The Godfather series among others but he has also effected these other timeless classics...
