We at the Schitz camp are super stoked to announce, not only our soon to be launched record label, ( Ya heard right! We a Schitz label now!) but also showcase our first banger for the Franz Ferdinand "Ulysses" remix contest being put on by beatportal.com

From the dark heart of the Pacific North West comes the devastating new sound of BLACK APACHE.

Part beast and part machine, their bare-knuckled approach to production means dance floors will never be safe again.

After months of searching for the sound that would define our label, it only took one listen to know we had our premiere artist. Comprised of J.Joly and K.Kelly, BLACK APACHE were signed and immediately sequestered in a subterranean fortress to begin work on their upcoming e.p.

Somewhere in the fog of the vice-fueled recording, they found time to remix the upcoming Franz Ferdinand single. More of a re-invisioning than a remix, the pair have given us a jaw-dropping snapshot of what is to come.

Drawing on the metal poisoning they experienced from imbibing British Steel in their youth, to the discipline of Kraut electro instilled during their formative years, the two have created the sonic equivalent of a sawed-off, booze-soaked denim, pill-poppin' barn-burner. A unique and deadly combination that could only come from Big Foot country.

Lock up your women, and string up the barbed-wire... Black Apache is coming.
